  THIS is how you do a movie musical. It needs to be unapologetically a musical no trying to hide songs by them being a popular song (excuse the pun) in the world of the characters or shortening them to avoid songs a much as possible. This was a love letter to the stage production and the hype was worth the wait. Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande were perfection- Cynthia’s emotion pulls you in and Ariana’s comedic timing in second to none! Beautiful
