  disclaimer - I haven’t watched the first avatar, still won’t, and only saw this because I was dragged to a showing 

  take away that I haven’t seen the first film this second instalment is just an overcrammed, slow moving, over decade long idea dump. by the end of the first act the middle acts becomes boring and repetitive - how many time do you need to see avatar swimming and riding on creatures. didn’t really connect with any of the characters despite it being 3h 12m long and I was just glad when the end credits rolled
