This film didn't do much for me, really. There wasn't as much tension as could've been extracted from the idea. The most interesting parts to me were the dynamic between the killers. The sidekick's guilt and fear of being caught drove some interesting scenes, but even then I didn't find it too believable. He seemed to have disapproved of the killing from the moment it happened.
Making the movie seem like it was all one take was interesting, I suppose?…

I've never been a 13 year old girl but this movie still felt relatable to the growing pains most have had. Very funny, cheesy, and sometimes predictable. But being predictable doesn't need to detract from a film, nor does it negate the message and story it wants to tell.
It's refreshing to see a kids movie tackling puberty and especially periods in a straightforward way filled with humour. Anyone who thinks that has no place in a kids movie needs to understand that kids get periods. It should be an open conversation and something that everyone should understand with no shame or secrecy.
