Deadpool & Wolverine 2024

About 1.5 hours into the movie I got tired of feeling like I had to laugh, gave up the rest of the movie. Ironically I was the only one in my packed theater that laughed at “flame on” and simultaneously the only one that didn’t laugh at the 45th sex joke. I’d say marvel missed but apparently people like really bad movies.

Dune: Part Two 2024
It took Marvel 11 years and 3 phases, it took LOTR two treks through the trilogy, and Star Wars never got there. Marriage Story is possibly the only movie that drew me into the characters with such massive emotional investment with only one viewing. It took Dune two viewings of Part 1 (which I didn’t really actually love) and ONE adventure through Dune Part 2 to make me feel the way I haven’t felt viewing a sci-fi movie before.
