  The major reason to see this movie is Robert Pattinson. We haven’t seen a triple A actor this transformative since Brad Pitt. I will genuinely see him in any movie he wants to be a part of. That being said, I hope Bong’s next work is a bit less American action movie than this. I still had a great time.

  Definitely a mixed bag. 

  Matt and Mara is a movie that relies solely on the titular relationship, but the connection between the leads feels authentic and stilted simultaneously, leading to a very strange experience. Matt Johnson draws the viewer in as always, although he seems as though he belongs in an entirely different movie. Matt and Mara is minimal and quiet, and his bombastic and comedic personality at times clashes with Kazik Radwanski’s direction and Deragh Campbells’s performance as Mara.…
