Mickey 17 2025
Very fun and Pattinson is fantastic but this is really spread far too thin despite how long it was. Bong’s satire was never subtle, but generally there’s a lot more depth and pathos to it than there is here. Anthony Mackie deserves better than an almost entirely apolitical “political thriller” that mostly just exists to make an origin story for Wolverine’s claws. Very clearly a hack job in the editing room as well.
