The 39 Steps 1935
Overall enjoyable, but the pacing was moving at 100 miles a second. It lacks the subtlety of Hitchcock’s later work, and there’s not much depth to any of the characters. Who are they? I have no idea. For the build up it did have, the ending sped right on through it. Not bad, though.
