Super cool story. All around pretty well told. Could’ve used a few extra million, one different casting choice, and the director of the iron claw and this would be an Oscar contender.

What the fuck?
I guess this was made when ventriloquism still had some semblance of not being a front for satan or psychopathy. This one was in the psychopathy vein.
Anthony Hopkins is acting his motherfucking ass off to the nines. The story is just heartbreakingly sad and tragic and psychologically motivated. Beautiful really. Just horrific. The kind of horror movie that doesn’t really feel like a horror movie.

Extremely unsettling. Was it absolutely perfect? No. But it’s a 5 star film for being made on next to no money and for touching something deep inside my soul that did not want to be touched.
I’ve never seen anything even close to being like this. It was an experience I never wanted, no want again. But, I feel grateful for seeing something so unique.
