Snatch 2000
Its one of those films that always puts me in good mood. The thick accents, the cool style and its colorful characters make it really memorable and entertaining. Always prefered it to lock, stock and two smoking barrels mostly cause of the for me better cast of characters. The color pallete is mostly muted, gray and greenish, the editing is always frantic, maybe a bit too much sometimes, however it gives the film its own unique look. Worth multiple watches!

Very old fashioned western. Its about standing up to the bad guys, doing whats right, JUSTICE and being true to your principles. I apreciate how simple and pure it is. I really liked the friendship between our two leads, they share some really cute scenes together. Like other Kostner movies he directed, he is absolutely in love with the american wilderness capturing it with gorgeous cinematography. Hot take, i unironically like this movie. The postman has a pretty infamous reputation for being stupid, bloated and self indulgent. While I certantly agree that there are a lot of scenes that really come of as self indulgence on the part of actor/director Kevin Costner where he lifts his character as a messiah."you give hope away like its candy". ugh.
