This film is very intimate and it has stunning visuals. It is full of deep emotion and features excellent acting. I’m really thankful to have seen this.
Mickey 17 has a very interesting and cool concept. I was curious to see where the story would go. Robert Pattinson really delivers a strong performance wow, and Mark Ruffalo is also very convincing in his role. I especially liked the indirect Trump impression.
I found it interesting to see what realizations Mickey comes to throughout the film. The only downside for me was that the ending went on a bit too long, but that was also because it was making me nervous
I truly love this movie! It’s a very pronounced and intense film, but the depth, emotionality, word choice, visual presentation and chemistry are exceptional. The acting performances of Jenna Ortega and Martin Freeman are sooo good. The poetry in the film is simply breathtaking.
I find it unfortunate to see how poorly this film is rated as I believe it deserves much better!
De terugreis heeft een diepgaande emotionaliteit met een mooie, maar ook trieste ondertoon. Ik ben normaal niet echt fan van Nederlandse films, maar voor een Nederlandse film is de kwaliteit echt hoog. Sommige momenten waren heel grappig, maar de film ontroerde me ook, vooral op het einde. Er zitten wat zwaardere thema's aan verbonden zoals ouder worden, de strijd tegen de tijd en het geleidelijk verliezen van een iemand en de acceptatie hiervan. Het acteerwerk van Lenny Leederveld en Martin van Waardenburg is ook echt heel goed.
