Revenge 2017
A fun comic book that doesn’t cut too deep beneath the surface, for better or for worse.
The exposition is pretty flat, carried only by Matilda Lutz’s beauty and charm. Sort of an unnecessary bit of business before we get to the real point: REVENGE.
The SA scene is appropriately uncomfortable and mercifully offscreen. The only penetration Fargeat likes to show is foreign projectiles lodged in every part of the human body, and these in great, lingering detail.
