Still baffles me this is the sequel to Evil Dead with such an intense shift in tone. One of my essential childhood movies I had on heavy rotation. Still stand by it, so campy but I love how they lean into it.

Bro holy shit. Right from the jump this movie pulls no punches and takes you on a nightmarish ride through one of the most brutally honest and human crime thrillers I’ve seen. Bill Paxton was so phenomenal in this, he brought so many layers to a character that could have so easily been one dimensional.
