For the last five years I’ve walked around saying “I get Halloween was important for the genre, I just don’t think it’s very good”
I understand now that was the opinion of a foolish young boy and I stand before you now, a changed, more mature man who understands just how damn good this movie is.
Two minutes into the movie my friend turned to me and said “we’re about to watch the most boring movie”
But I wasn’t bored. I was angry. Furious even.
This movie is everything wrong with cinema bundled into one package; the complete disrespect for the source material, the almost ai generated one liners, the generic action and a Moneyball cast mostly playing themselves or phoning it in.
For fuck sake, there’s not even one unique gun in the whole film. A staple of the Borderlands franchise.
Fuck this movie. Fuck everyone that allowed this.
I’m glad I only paid $1 for this shit.
Oh my days.
If all you know about this movie is the title, keep it that way and put this shit on asap.
