The wooly roly polys are kinda haunting but sweet simultaneously. Genre splitting movie feel. Went into the theater with general understanding of the movie’s plot but was impressed by how much ground the movie covers with its political symbolism, moral quandaries, and human touch. Mickey 17 doesn’t sound like Robert Pattinson though which is disorienting
The animation, music, humor, storytelling…all *chefs kiss* the characters are also endearing and blend so well. Charming ending. Would watch again.
Such a sweet movie. But, why don’t people talk about this as being heartbreaking?
I thought this was supposed to be funny. The social commentary is very prominent and I can’t tell if it’s poorly done or well done. Edit: The last 45 minutes is funny actually.
