The quotables and the Empire State Building Are undeniable but man what a bizarre movie. Carey Grant was 20 years too old and completely checked out here. Kerr tried her damndest to create some chemistry between them but no one can create a compelling romance when one side is a brick wall. The pacing on some of these scenes is so clunky it feels like someone forgot their lines and everyone just gave up and decided to go with it

This is an incredible movie. The style the characters the fight scenes the acting makes it an almost perfect genre film. Just don't look into the background or the original script or it becomes...less enjoyable.
