Mickey 17 2025
My favorite movie of 2025 so far! I like how lovably pathetic Mickey 17 is, and how Mickey 18 (RIP king 🕊️) ends up being a good influence on him in the end. Initially I expected 18 to be one of the villains in the film, but I enjoyed the subversion. I also love how unexpectedly romantic this film is, and how it explores the idea of loving every version of a person. Wish I had seen it opening weekend…
