The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep 2025
It’s just not worth wasting the time to watch this. This is background noise at best - and that is how it was used, yet, it still only mustered 2 stars worth of entertainment. Blood spills were good though. Mermaids are always interesting. Mermaid language was intriguing. Archetypal plots were boring. The sage lessons were boring and too up to date to be actually sage.

Thoroughly enjoyed watching this fusion Japanese samurai story, where the stage is set in medieval Europe and everyone’s dressed up as peasants. I particularly enjoyed it when everyone came onto stage for the black ops mission dressed as medieval knight ninjas, wearing capes and throwing knives. The whole thing is very fun. I genuinely felt surprise and glee at this blend, because I had no idea it was going to happen. Turns out the director is Japanese. I expected King…
