  Wasn't crazy about this one, but it was ok. Some nice camera work, but it was a bit unsettling. I didn't care for Mitchum's character much, and how he was creepy and mean to the children.

  Got a chance to see a showing on the big screen celebrating the life of David Lynch, couldn't miss it.
  Wow! It was like watching it again for the first time. A lot of little details I never really picked up on like the eeriness of Henry's apartment and just how audibly active and full the entire film is. The sound design is really just incredible and maybe my favorite aspect of the experience. After recently doing a full rewatch of Twin Peaks and the Return, you can really see how the foundations for the black lodge were laid early on.

  Anora starts out strong and finishes strong, but I feel like the middle chunk was unnecessarily long and could have been edited down quite a bit. it honestly could have been a 90 minute movie and been better for it.
  The movie has three very different acts, and each has a different feel. The 1st is an idyllic romcom that I got a feeling seemed too good to be true before revealing the real plot.
