  I am not the biggest Nolan fan, but Interstellar is a masterpiece of sci-fi. Incredible writing and everything one could want in a film.

  Annihilation was a really cool concept. Loved the idea of The Shimmer, but the pacing was somewhat slow and parts of the film weren't that interesting. However, the last scenes at the Lighthouse were really amazing and the special effects were great. Seeing Natalie Portman's mimic tear set to that creepy soundtrack was truly unsettling and strange, absolutely loved that part of it.

  I picked this up during the Criterion Collection flash sale, and I'm glad I did. Jack Benny was a riot in this, and his chemistry with the beautiful Carole Lombard was electric.

  I'll decide with whom my wife is going to have dinner and whom she's going to kill.

  It's a funny film, and pretty crazy to think this was made while the Nazis were actively invading across Europe, no wonder it was so controversial for the time.
