  i had to stop after 47 minutes because this was even worse than 1978 and even less 1660s than that was 1970s and it was fucking infuriating, like did you even look up the 1600s in america before writing this movie??

  how could she even tell those kids that story without giving away who she was in the story that doesn't make any goddamned sense and neither did anything else

  it also didn't feel very '70s to me, just '70s window dressing, just 2021 doing 1978 and not even as well as we did in the '90s

  
  Edit: I just realized the storyteller was NOT PRESENT for like 80% of the story she told, and everyone died so it’s not like…
