  Oh darling… too on the nose, but that's what you need when the world situation is dire and you need to get your point across as quickly and hauntingly beautifully as you can. It's good the revival happened worldwide in 2022, a dark year for a dark play.

  This isn’t a film, it’s an experience. Vivid 1950s sexism, but with style. The colorful cinematography pulling you into a morally unacceptable mindset of a cheating man. Still 1/2 stars for the aesthetic... beautiful cringe-worthy relic.

  Oh, today I rewatched this mainly for the soundtrack to have on the background while deep-desk researching. It's a good movie! I went through all the fan phases when I was 11, then hated it from 12-16. But the first film of this saga, before the massive hype, when it was still kind of an indie teen flick, is a great blue-filter classic. I'll give it a heart – for the memories, for THAT incredible soundtrack list!
