  I am so extremely happy that the response to Baker’s most recent work has been so overtly positive. And why wouldn’t it be? When i saw it at Angelika at a packed 35mm early screening, the entire audience was laughing, cheering and rooting for ANORA throughout the runtime.

  I like my horror culty, Cage-y, and Satanic. 
  Really well made, visual and sound design create a very oppressive atmosphere. 
  I feel like the ending could have gone one step further but I am satisfied.

  I Saw the TV Glow 2024

  This didn’t tickle my personal 90s nostalgia experience, which is fine - it’s Jane’s, but It also didn’t move me much.
   It’s shot beautifully and what they were able to do with the light gave this piece at least a bit of life.
  I was struggling to stay awake for the last third of the film which was all just voice over narration. 
  Reading other reviews makes me think I missed something or just that I have a blind spot…
