Another movie i regret not watching sooner. I really enjoyed this one and getting to watch it in theaters was such a treat.
I really liked the Darko family dynamic, Donnie’s parents were involved and always on his side, even up against the school faculty they saw that their son was right (or funny) and rolled their eyes at the teachers.

Robbert Pattinson gets crazier in every new movie i see him in and i love it. Two fabulous, believable, performances from Rob Pat!
I dont know what I was expecting walking into this one but it definitely wasnt Mark Ruffalo and Toni Collette as Trump caricatures. I found myself both caught up in the love story of Nasha being obsessed with Mickey in all his different forms and utterly bored by the Trump of it all.
Over all i wanted more dying/printing and Nasha being Nasha and less politics. I just was looking for more fun.

Listen i wasnt walking into this thinking i was gonna watch a coked out Jean Ralphio talk smack to a Vampire’s assistant who found a new lot in life but here i am grinning from ear to ear.
Was it cheesy? Sure. Is Awkwafina not everyone’s cup of joe? Absolutely. But did you SEE that guys arms get cut off by a decorative platter?
Part cop corruption, part self help book, all a good time.
