Hahah this was the first time Ive seen a film and thought ‘this is so french art house’.

Beautiful cinematography.
The film started off so strong but I think it got lost in all of its inspirations (think Rosemary’s baby, Suspiria etc) and by the end there were too many questions that werent answered. The reveals didn’t pay off. Either way, very enjoyable first watch at Berlinale!

Okay so I’ve been watching horror films since I was wayyy too young and I remember my mum recommending this film to me when I was like 8 (questionable parenting but slay i guess). She could only remember one scene and from that I’ve been trying to find this film for years… UNTIL NOWWWW! Thanks mum for suggesting it to me. Growing up i fucking loved this type of horror and tbh I still do.
