The Little Mermaid 1989
This is a palette cleanse for sure, after Tromeo and Juliet most films would be. Point being, this is fun. Very well made film. The pacing is succinct, the animation still looks very good, sound design is fantastic. I like this enough. Disney films are not really my thing, but I acknowledge that they are objectively very good, well made and accessible films. A fun blind watch and I’m glad I watched it, I can definitely live without watching this again though.

Tromeo & Juliet 1996
Y’know, this is probably the best film version of Romeo and Juliet. Very Troma, very deplorable, very funny. I can’t say that it isn’t Shakespeare, but I can say that it is fun. Like The Toxic Avenger, not for the faint at heart, but if you have the stomach for it, this isn’t near as good as Toxie.

The King Tide 2023

Spider-Man 3 2007
There are things I love here, especially the stuff with Sandman. The Symbiote stuff was fun, but I don’t like Topher Grace’s Eddie Brock. This film is bloated and easily the weakest of the three, but it’s still fun.
