The first of many watches, I’m sure. There’s a lot I enjoyed about this film- it has a lot of meta humour, it’s a fascinating portrayal of a Canadian identity, and its sinister setting reminded me of both Frank N Furter’s lab and the USS Enterprise, I think because of the sound design. However as interesting as all of the actors were, I think the best performance has got to go to the lizard.
