  Having watched Alita: Battle Angel and Red One recently, I simply can't deny that the Wachowskis are so refreshing in the world of CG blockbusters. They deliver the goods.

  Thoroughly, thoroughly satisfying. Full of tricks but also charm. This movie has a lot of heart, and that's why I urge you to see it in theatres, its a pure thrill to see a movie that wears on its sleeve the sheer excitement of simply being a movie. Josh O'Connor is particularly exciting (although this could be due to how reminiscent his performance is of Elliot Gould in The Long Goodbye).

  In the hands of A24 this could have been really annoying but it wasn't.
