not me watching a woody woodpecker cartoon just because this short was shown playing on a TV in both the universal monsters reboot movie "Abigail" (2024) and also in rob zombies "the munsters" (2022) where it was dubbed in french in a scene where lily and herman munster are on their honeymoon in Paris!
I'm sorry i know a lot of people on Letterboxd like this film and by extension Haneke's directorial work but honestly this film just doesn't do anything for me!
Its a film that thinks its so god damn smart for having the hot take of "VIOLENCE IN FILMS IS BAD" and "HORROR FILMS ARE ALL TORTURE PORN!" and thinks it being artsy by boring and insulting the audience watching it!

I saw this in an empty theater in the middle of the day so I basically more or less got a private screening of this and honestly this was everything I hoped it would be and more!
Looney Tunes meets "invasion of the body snatchers" in glorious 2d hand drawn animation! See it if you can!
