  Least favorite of the series, and that’s largely due to the 3rd act.  It’s baffling to me that they thought this was a good way to end the trilogy.  It’s cheap, messy, completely nonsensical, and, worse of all, lacks any real suspense.  Most of the film, in fact, lacks tension, which is odd considering this is a movie about satanic serial killings in the heyday of satanic serial killings.  I held out hope that the final 20ish minutes would right…

  If you’ve seen the trailer, it should be of no surprise that you’ve basically seen the whole movie, but this turned out way more engaging and fun than I thought!  The plot is underwhelming minus one big surprise, and the main bad guy sucks, but the fight scenes are surprisingly brutal and entertaining as hell.  Plus, there’s Jack Quaid, who is so effortlessly charming and likable in everything he’s in, with Novocaine being no exception.  I’m all for this guy becoming a major movie star someday.
