I don’t know which nosferatu is my favorite, as they’re all so different from one another. I have a soft spot for this herzog/kinski classic, but I was blown away by the new Eggers one. Haven’t seen the og silent since high school, but it may be time to revisit

Martin Scorsese really blew me away with this one, really proving that he still "has it."
I read that an earlier version of the script approached the story from a completely different angle, placing the FBI investigation at the center of the story. It seems fair enough, considering the book's point of view is from the FBI (or so I've heard – I have not read it yet). But early in the film's conception, members of the Osage community approached…
Very interesting, unexpected ending to a fascinating and riveting drama. Loved all the performances. I switched my own personal for pope a few times throughout.
Loved all the performances, and the cinematography was incredible in its capture of those beautiful Vatican buildings, though they were replicas.
I especially loved all the shots that exhibited the clash between tradition and modern, i.e. cardinals smoking cigarettes while scrolling on their smartphones.
Overall, very intelligent film with stunning visuals and excellent performances
