All the Bright Places 2020
subjectively I understand that this isn’t an overly great movie. but for me it does enough. it doesn’t take any risks or shine in any particular way but I really did enjoy it. I think every now and then we need movies like these. simple yet something that can make an impact in some way. sometimes all you need is a good cry or something to smile about. and I think this one does it for me.

I’m sorry lass. probably my favourite movie of 2024. the film displays the raw complexities of love and ambition beautifully. it’s seductive, it’s sensual, and I’m here for it. you hate to see it for Art, but who doesn’t love an exciting threesome (love triangle). the chemistry is electric and each scene feels sharp and unpredictable. fantastic film. it’s a shame not everyone can appreciate it as I do. still hurts the soul lass, it really does:(

I love everything about this film. it’s tender and heartwarming and exemplifies so greatly of an optimistic yet cynical film. the casting was incredible and Olive fits perfectly as the glue for her dysfunctional family. one day you decide to watch this movie and suddenly life doesn’t feel so bad anymore.
