I don’t think this movie knows how cops work…
Novocaine is shameless and glorious bloodbath that had my whole theatre hooked from start to finish. There were some pacing issues and cheesy one liners but that comes with the style. Overall, a creative concept that pushes the limits of your fight choreography and revels in its gore- seriously this is not for the faint of heart. This movie is everything exciting and engaging about the action movie genre.
VERY strong concept!! Immaculate production design and tone with life changing performance(s) by Robert Pattinson. There are parts of the movie that feel very refined and other parts that still feel very first draft. What it lacks in subtext and heart it makes up for in… goofiness? I was a little disappointed but it’s a fun time. Glad I saw it! Not really in a hurry to go see it again.
I really liked this! A whimsical and relatable story showing the things we miss if we aren’t listening carefully.
