It’s the way my body had a physical reaction every time Jonathan Bailey came on that screen. It’s like getting to witness a shirtless fireman save a kitten from a tree, having not a thought in his head while simultaneously flirting with every single person he came across, including me in my seat.
Oh and Ariana and Cynthia were fantastic haven’t stopped listening to the soundtrack.
If you’re living at home post college and wanna watch a movie with your dad but don’t know what’s a safe option then I have your answer. This movie made me and my dad laugh out loud multiple times.
I’ve never seen Casey Affleck in a more humorous role but I really enjoyed him in this. Matt Damon has great comedic timing. The pair was hilarious and had great chemistry(obviously).
There was a pot hole or two but over all it’s a good watch. Much better than I expected it to be.
This was the second time I watched this one and it was just as great. This movie causes heartache the whole way through. Gyllenhaal and Ledger give a great depiction of love, loneliness, desire, and anger. Everyone talks about Heath Ledger as the joker but I think his as Ennis Del Mar is right up there with it.
