Rewatched this classic after recent discussion. Great plot. Fascinating idea for a movie.  Unfortunately I don’t have as great an affinity with the old classics as others.

James Stewart was a great actor though. I did like the WW2 references which I’m reminded are in ever 50’s early 60’s movie.

    Timothée is HIM

I can’t decide if he’s better here or in Dune but should win best actor for the aggregate of the 2. I don’t know of anyone who has released 2 amazing performances like this in 6 months separation.

The movie really is all about that performance. I don’t know much about Bobby D, nor do I really care honestly. But the movie does a good job telling his story of about 5 years, and the tension in his relationships. Bob’s songs do rock though.

Extremely musically talented and driven film, which I loved from the jump.

Ralph Fiennes is spectacular, so many fantastic one liners. And I think they did a great job with the intricacies of the conclave and made it entertaining. I personally found the premise fascinating.

Music and camera angles keep you on edge most of the movie. The underlying messages in the film are interesting and send different messages but I think overall portrays a message of hope and unity. Not seeking division.

Definitely a high 4 for me. Zac Efron is great once again.

These dudes are absolutely JAHKED. Electric soundtrack with some great in scene songs as well that I really enjoyed. Jesse got me to watch this one so thank you. But I’m not a big wrestling guy myself and this one hit the spot though.

A great balance of sport and drama for a movie. It truly is amazing what all happened to that family (seems a lot of…
