I am the target audience for this movie.
Was hating before seeing for no reason. Сорян, зря быканул. Ахуенный фильм, блядь! Daddy AF by Slayyyter in the same movie where people are fighting just like your family?! That’s insane. Accent and post-Soviet 0-1st gen immigrant heaven.
Americans were questioning whether it was a comedy. It was both a comedy and drama, inseparably close, as is the real post-Soviet American life.
On the downside, now every American dude will be making Anora jokes when meeting an ethnically-ambigious Russian-speaking woman
Ламбада should’ve played at some time in the movie :(
Will be rewatching. Amazing.

Incredibly mediocre, men-centric, religiously/culturally bipartisan movie tailored to male audience only. Gave stars only for acting that was excellent.
Striving for cultural relevance, the movie becomes untactful at times. The experience reads as watching a movie with no direction, just vibes. I hope that actors get all the praise.
The movie was disrespectful to all the victims that it is trying to represent.
