  i was going to give this movie a 4 1/2 because i have tears streaming down my face and i’m so fucking astounded that ashitaka could forgive the humans but like, isn’t that the whole point? humanity is awful and they’ll never change but that doesn’t mean i’m not apart of it, that doesn’t mean that we can run from it, the forest was saved because ashitaka forgave and forgave and forgave.
