  This movie is just so fucking nostalgic for me (I loved it so much my parents got it on VHS for me one Christmas when I was like 10).

  Even though most of the jokes don't land (and truly they never did) this movie makes me grin incessantly while also make me tear up and overall just puts me in my feels. 

  Also it legitimately has one of the best soundtracks of all time which gives it a whole extra star

  Things I love about this movie- the underwater shots, how obviously this isn’t actually filmed in the Amazon, and how Julie Adams manages to have perfect hair and never ending outfit changes even as those around her are being murdered in the middle of the jungle
