Maybe British leads for a movie set in Appalachia wasn’t the best move, they were suffering through those accents, Robert Pattinson more so; Sebastian Stan’s was really bad too

The aesthetic reminded me a lot of Bonnie & Clyde, especially the repeated violence & the camera holding on it. Also the vibe of just a bunch of people being shot & then the story just moves was similar

I don’t know if I loved the narrator, I feel like the story could’ve stood…

A made for tv adaptation of a true crime podcast; visually it is a mess, and it is repetitive. This also ends without a conviction

I don’t really want to rate it though; the point was obviously just to bring attention to the case to help solve it & to let the families talk about the girls

Watched this a few days ago, but they just added it to Letterboxd

Some parts definitely could’ve been edited down; I think they wanted it to feel like a slice of life, but some episodes dragged for me

They did a good job with this, especially with the relationship between the dad & the son. The parts with him & the female therapist were also very haunting & the way he talked to his dad vs. the way he talks to his mom…
