Poignant tale reminding us that women are capable of greater love, passion, and creativity than society allows and recognizes. Turn around or not it’s still loss and it’s devastating.

The colors, the score (or lack thereof), the cinematography, the landscape is so tender, so delicate.

There are only a few movies I’ve seen in my life that made me think that if the whole world saw this movie it would be healed, it would be whole, and Sing Sing is one of them. I truly mean this in the most sincere way when I say I feel forever touched and changed. This movie is a beautiful portrayal of brotherhood and hope and when the world is ugly and unfair our humanity and community are not…

Beautiful poignant movie. Andrew Scott has no barrier and gives us his full open heart. I loved how this movie touched on a story that has been done a million times but found a depth that felt real, that explored how hard it is to be a human, to know what to do, what to say, how to heal. There are no heroes in this movie but there are also no villains. Just imperfectly perfect humans all haunted by our own ghosts, wandering souls longing.

Amazing cinematography, set design, lighting. Focus puller deserves a raise.
