I have nothing but praise for the cinematography and technical aspects. The conjunction of everything with gorgeous green forests is an effective contrasting backdrop for the brutality of the cult. This film also is a master class on the match cut and changing small elements throughout the course of a scene to call back to prior scenes. Very wide shots are employed perfectly to invoke a sense of emptiness.
