  I found this gem in VHS format in a second hand store. The storyline and the acting took my breath away, and I immediately rewound it and watched it again. It was hard to sleep that night.
  Hal Holbrook was the perfect narrator for this film.

  We had to read this in school. Grade 9? Then I saw the film. Loved them both. It made me cry, and for me that's generally the sign of a good book/film.
