Debbie Reynolds and Tony Curtis in a melodrama? Yes please! I’m used to Debbie in more comedys but this was a good romance drama. I guess it wasn’t received very well with Debbie in a heavy drama. This is my 4th Robert Mulligan directed movie and I liked them all so I need to search out more. This story of 2 young people down on their luck in New York struggling to make it really works and the actors are great. Don Rickles is a nasty little vermin which was fun to watch. Good soundtrack.
    I recommend this film.

“I wonder if I could clunk him on the head with this?”
A screwy delightful comedy with Barbara Stanwyck and Henry Fonda. Stanwyck along with her Father, Charles Coburn, are con artists and are aboard an ocean liner with Fonda, a rich geeky snake expert. This is a fun watch as cons ensue and backfire too🤓

This is hard to review but I really love this type of movie that informs the world of important history, while being extremely tragic, we may not even know about it. So terrible! I did appreciate the acting in this film, especially Lily Gladstone, DiCaprio and DeNiro, all were amazing in their own unique ways, even though Leo did look like this ☹️almost the entire time and his character was so stupid…

I didn’t recognize any of the actors in this.🤓
I gotta say, I was confused watching this. Maybe I should have done a little homework first. I’m a fan of the original 1968 Planet of the Apes, just an incredible groundbreaking unforgettable movie, so I have seen every Apes movie since then including all the new ones. It can get complicated with the different timelines and groupings of the films. So now I suspect “Kingdom” is the beginning of a…
