Jamie Clayton deserves her flowers for her performance as our new “Pinhead”, The Priest, but she and the Cenobites deserve more examination - and screen time - than given and we’re stuck with stupid horror characters saying stupid horror things in a franchise that desperately craves deeper intelligence behind the camera.
Wants desperately to be so many things it ends up being wildly trope-filled nonsense. Also, Lizzy Caplan is the only one attempting to act but she clearly owed someone a favor.
