Sofia Coppola has done it again. She beautifully captures and illustrates the plight of women under the tyrannical control of the patriarchy.

    I love this film wholeheartedly.

creepy creepy creepy, had me on the edge of my seat the entire time, Ethan hawke was chilling - exuding evil and thoroughly disturbing - the two young actors were fantastic pulling at my heartstrings. The storyline did not feel forced, yet it progressed naturally and realistically too, playing on common fears. I loved this movie and I’m not one to indulge in horror but this was an exception.

It is 11:47 pm, a Wednesday night during winter break and I just finished watching this beautiful film.

I don’t know how to articulate my thoughts.
‘Aftersun isn’t just an honest movie about the way that we remember the people we have lost - fragmented, elusive, nowhere and everywhere all at once - it’s also a heart stopping act of remembering unto itself.’

I will forever be thinking about the ‘under pressure’ scene’, my heart scarred forever.

I love this film with all my being.
