The Innocents 2021
Super fucked up and disturbing horror film from Norwegian director and screenwriter Eskil Vogt. Cronenberg meets the Ikea catalog.
It has little of the usual horror tropes and lulls us into a safe space with these cute kids, but when it turns, it turns very dark. You are not in safe hands with this filmmaker. He's gonna tighten the screws on you, and he ain't holding back. Not recommended for the faint of heart.
