Every still was magic??!! Like so much thought and craft went into this movie (don’t even get me started on the STOP MOTION SEQUENCE GODDAMN) that I was jaw to the floor for the whole 1hr 59min runtime. Fantastic costume design by Eiko Ishioka (also did costumes for Bran Stoker’s Dracula and Mirror Mirror which are two of my favorite movies), especially pleased with the creative choice to put Lee Pace in a sleeveless military vest and wide leg pants! I’m honestly gagged from watching this, and I’m sad I didn’t see it sooner ✋🏼🥴
