  Overall, I started out really enjoying the film and being pretty impressed, but that was slowly decreasing with each song and all the insane song-breaks and pauses and unnecessary elongations.
  I still enjoyed the film, but really lost interest when they butchered Defying Gravity's momentum. It's one of the best Act 1 Finales to hit the Broadway stage and it just fell so flat here (not Cynthia's fault. She's a powerhouse, and it went under-utilized in that song). Tis a shame.
