  Good Chemistry: The Story of Elemental 2023

  Really opens up the meaning behind the film and gives insight to a the creator’s life / story intentions. I learned a lot about being a first generation immigrant, growing up in America. He had a language barrier with his own parents. Like wow. What an interesting look into his experience. Really adds to your comprehension of the film.

  Iconic. Micheal Keaton kills it. So does Gena Davis, Alec Baldwin, and Winona Ryder. Bro what a stacked cast.
  Reminds me of German expressionism, especially with their use of very saturated colors (blue, green, red) which was common with early silent films. 
  There was a lot more comedic moments than I remembered. What a fucking hit.

  Mommy? Sorry… Mommy kink? Sorry

  Entire thing was composed like a photographer would. Capturing moments through doorways, windows, wide shots of two women sitting in a cafe. Close at times and distant at others. Intentionally cutting someone out or off of the composition can create some beautiful images. Helped keep a congruent visual theme with our photographer protagonist. I felt like I was experiencing the world the way a photographer sees it… and as a photographer that’s difficult to convey. Very impressive.
