Cronos is a great twist on the usual vamp/ancient relic plots. A favourite for me were the embalmer/mortician scenes, truly a masterpiece. Those parts alone could easily be a brilliant stand alone short film, from the acting to the details in the set to the writing.
Great concept, fantastic art direction, good acting (Man, i love Luppi so much!), oh and have i mentioned that i love everyone who worked on these sets?
Tobe hooper is a master of filth & grunge! This is a chaotic ride, sometimes going over the top which makes it even more fun. It’s also weird & amazing how it almost feels like you’re watching a play.
I don’t think this film gets enough credit for how well crafted each character, costuming and set feel. A great grungy dark thriller with some slasher madness.

This trying to be so serious is so extremely entertaining. Leslie Nielsen himself couldn't have done a better job if he were cast as the detective. Slasher masterpiece.
