This movie is half-baked, if that. I don't at all buy their romance and the writing/dialogue feels so unnatural and just weird all the time.
I laughed out loud at the scene of them driving past the flowers and screaming. I'm honestly not sure what Shrader was going for with this film...the idea of a racist overcoming his racism could be fascinating but I felt zero of his internal struggle.
